Please find above the TEAM ID NUMBERS which you should make a note of and refer to it when turning in your food and beverage receipts to the servers/ if you have receipts for this season you can submit them as well.  Once again this year, we will keep a running total of your team sales and when you have your windup party a rebate of 5% of your total can be applied to offset your Fieldhouse expenses.

If you have unclaimed rewards from last season, they will already be added to your file to start this season. This year, we ask that you use the rebates by May 31. On behalf of the Hospitality and Retail Service and Fieldhouse staff, we appreciate your patronage.

Rules

O50 Playoff Format 2012-2013

1. The Playoffs will consist of a 3 game, round-robin; (for the 6 team division, it’s a staggered draw). The top 2 teams will play a 1 game, sudden-victory Final. The other teams will play a Consolation game.

2. Top 2 teams with best W-L-T record in Round Robin advance to Final.
All Round-robin games can be played to a tie. In the event 2 or more teams share the same points or W-L-T record the following tie-breaker(s) will apply:

a) Goals for and against differential of the round robin games. The team(s) with the better differential will advance in order.

b) Goals for and against differential in the Playoff game vs the Regular season 1st place finisher.

c) The team with the better regular season record vs. the 1st place finisher; including GF/GA differential if necessary

d) The team which scored the 1st goal of the Playoff games the most # of times.

e) The team with the most Playoff shut-outs.

f) Team with most goals for

g) Team with least goals against

h) The League Executive reserves the right to determine an additional tie-breaker if required.

i) Coin toss. The team which finished higher in the regular season standings will call the toss.

Tie-breakers apply to playoff games. If 1st place team is involved in a tie-breaker, revert to d) and follow in order.

Rules for the use of Spares in the playoffs; (for Consolation games, spare rule is waived).

29.      PLAYOFFS Spares - Teams may use a player(s) from within their own division only, now known as The Spare. Non-League players are ineligible to spare.

The spare must be a player listed no higher than 41st in the overall division standings. See website http://www.rahockeyleague.com/leagues/pick_league.cfm?leagueID=1128&clientID=603

The spare can only play once throughout the playoffs.

Teams may only use enough spares to bring their team complement up to 8 players.

In order to be eligible to spare under House rule # 29, the Spare must have played a minimum of 11 regular season games; (games played as a spare during the regular season do not count towards the 11 game requirement).
