Our tournament and closing banquet is this Saturday Sept 19.
T-offs are every 10 minutes from 10:30 to 1:00 pm.
After receiving your feedback, we have modified our club length rule as follows:
If your ball lands in winterkill within the fairway, you can drop it within one club length, no closer to the hole. If you are on the green and there is winterkill between your ball and the hole, it's permissible to drop it within one club length, no closer to the hole. If your ball lands in the rough, it must stay in the rough. If your ball lands in a sand trap and is unplayable, you can drop it within one club length no closer to the hole. We expect the course conditions to improve over time so these rules are likely to be temporary in nature.

Welcome to all of our new members and returning members.
For those who couldn’t make the meeting and for those who couldn’t hear all of the announcements here are the highlights.
The biggest change for this season is that dinner is no longer optional. All league members will now pay $30 per night for golf and dinner. If you are a Falcon Ridge member you will pay $12 per night for your dinner. The club has hired a chef so the meals will be the best ever!
The clubhouse is still under construction and is expected to be finished by the end of May. As a result, the club will not be serving dinners in May. Your golf fees will be adjusted accordingly.
The league fee remains unchanged at $80 and will be used to pay for our annual tournament. We have not yet finalized with the club the method we will be using to collect the league fees this season so the format as described in this newsletter is subject to change.
For the weekly long drive and closest to the pin competitions, you are permitted to use the Red tees. This will help with the pace of play and keep it fair for everyone.
We have simplified the team concept and scoring for this year. Each foursome will be part of the same team and two foursomes will form each team. The best scores on each hole for your foursome will be added together to get your team scores.
If you are interested in joining the league this year, please email the names and email addresses of your foursome and your preferred t-time. If your foursome is returning from last year, you will be given the option of keeping last year’s t-time. If you are new to the league, please advise your intention to join the league, preferred t-time and we’ll place you on a foursome. Last year our t-times ran from 4:00 pm to 5:40 pm.
