Beer Pong Definition: Beer Pong is a game that is rumoured to have begun on the campus of Dartmouth College in the 1950s according to the article that appeared in the New York Times. It involves dividing into teams and arranging cups on a flat surface containing beer. The game is either played with or without paddles. The object is to get a ping pong ball into a cup on the opposing team’s side of the table. When this happens points are scored and the opponent must drink the beer in the cup. When one team has scored in all of the opposing teams cups the game is over. Thought to have originated in fraternity houses.
