TWILIGHT WHACKERS NEWSLETTER Monday, August 13, 2007 We had 41 members and 2 spares out to challenge Falconridge. The top point getters were Gerry Mann and Al Perkins both recorded 15 points. This was closely followed by Steve Roberts and John Burke (who had an off night) both players recorded 14 points. Due to Monday’s windy condition there were only 4 birdies recorded. Birdies were recorded by Joey Barrett on hole #2, John Burke and Brian Smith on hole #7 and Dan Prezeau on holes #8. Our next weeks play is scheduled for August 20 on Raceview. The team standings are still quite tight. With only 3 weeks to go the championship is still up for grabs. Barrett's Stacked Bombers are ahead with 998 points followed closely by Mac's Whackers at 980 points and Burke's Champs at 906 points. Warner's Warriors are a respectable 4th at 857 points.
