Hello Golfers, Here are the results from last Monday’s play. We had 36 members and 5 spares out to challenge Raceview. Winners from last night were 50/50 - $40 went to the girls longest drive - Ross Rankin closest to the pin - Peter Monaghan Congratulations to John Burke who shot a new league record of 3 under par 32 on Monday. The top point getter was John Burke with 21 points closely followed by Mike Pion with 18 points. There were 2 eagles and 12 birdies recorded during Monday’s nights play. Eagles were recorded by John Burke and Mike Pion on holes #4 and #5 respectively. Birdies were recorded by John Burke on holes #3,#5and #8, Dave Bekkers on holes #1 and #2, Brian Smith on holes #1 and #8 and Steve Mackey on holes #2 and #9. Other birdies were recorded by Francis Hawco on hole #9 and Joey Barrett on hole #3 . Our next weeks play is scheduled for August 13 on Falconridge. Aug 6 is a Stat Holiday and we won't be playing that night. The team standings are still quite tight. With 4 weeks to go the championship is still up for grabs. Barrett's Stacked Bombers are ahead with 928 points followed closely by Mac's Whackers at 892 points and Burke's Champs at 843 points. Warner's Warriors are a respectable 4th at 796 points.
